Overview
The CaseIH Farmall 40B is a 41 hp compact utility tractor produced between 2012 and 2014 featuring a 2.5L four-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engine. It was available with either a 16-speed partially synchronized transmission or a 3-range hydrostatic transmission, supported by a 4WD mechanical drive system and an open center hydraulic pump flow of 8.2 gpm.
Ideal Applications
Engine and PTO Configuration:
The liquid-cooled Mitsubishi engine is rated at 2600 RPM and provides a claimed 34 hp for the gear PTO and 32 hp for the hydrostatic PTO via an independent electro-hydraulic clutch.
Transmission and Drive System:
Equipped with a four-wheel drive system and mechanical rear differential lock, the tractor utilizes wet disc brakes and offers 16 forward/reverse gears or infinite hydrostatic ranges.
Hitch and Hydraulic Capacity:
The Category 1 rear hitch features position control and a two-position swinging drawbar, with a listed lift capacity of 2,469 lbs at 24 inches and 2,756 lbs at the ends.
